{ Welcoming 2010 | A Few Changes }

……….:::::::::: Welcome ::::::::::……….
First off – I would like to welcome everyone into 2010!  We survived 2009…actually, we exceeded all our business goals and we are so thankful to have met and photographed so many awesome people along the way!  Today wrapped-up the first Monday in the new decade…only like 521 more weeks in the 2010 decade!

……….:::::::::: News ::::::::::……….
Here at EJP we were anxiously looking forward to closing out the 2009 year as we already have some great weddings booked for this year and we are excited about traveling for a few out of town weddings!  As many of you know, Erica and I are expecting a baby in March – but things may change slightly.  Last week Erica went in for her regular appointment and ended-up coming out on bedrest! Ugghh!  It is all precautionary at this point and thank God she is able to be at home resting.  She is now in her 31st week – so we need that baby to cook for a little while longer!!!  You can read more about on Erica’s blog and also check out these chunky, chubby-cheeks!

……….:::::::::: EJP Updates ::::::::::……….
There isn’t a whole lot of changes heading our way this year…last year we made some pricing changes that we feel made us really competitive and we are proud to announce that are portrait pricing will remain the same.  Sessions will still receive a custom slideshow to view photos online, but we can no longer afford to keep these slideshows online indefinitely – so all slideshows will be available for viewing for 30 days (the slideshows will still be available for purchase on DVD).
Portrait Session:  $150
We did however build three packages for our wedding clients….we took the most requested services from 2009 and built them into easily customizable packages that begin at $1,500!  If you are interested in our wedding services, shoot us an email and we’d love to put one of our new Wedding Services Guide in the mail to you!
Most of the changes occurring at EJP this year are going to be behind the scenes to most.  We have already transitioned to a new accounting system and we are planning on upgrading some of our back-up systems as well.  We plan on updating all the web content during the 1st quarter 2010 – especially the wedding sections!

So all in all we are really excited about 2010 and we are ready for our family and our business to have a fresh start in 2010.  We would like to wish each of you a very Happy New Year and we would also like to say “thank you” for your business as well as your friendship!  Keep and eye out on the blog as we blog about a couple weddings soon!
