So today is day number three back on the running trail for me! I think it was about 2 1/2 years ago, but I ruptured my Achilles Tendon while playing soccer. To say the least, I never fully got back into the swing of things, fitness wise. So I am now nearing my 33rd celebration of life and I have decided to make a BOLD effort to get back in shape and get healthy.
But don’t think for a minute that I’m giving up that Starbucks! My plan is to really step-up the cardio by running at least 3–5 times a week, eat somewhat nutritious foods and drink more water! I’m also going to keep posting my Nike+ runs on the blog for some accountability. If you haven’t heard or seen the Nike+ running partner, check it out – it’s pretty cool!

Here’s the Nike+ run from today (3 days in a row)!!! Oh yeah, today after I completed my workout, Lance Armstrong congratulated me for my new one mile record, 8:58!!! Now I’m getting somewhere – “thanks Lance”!
