We had an awesome maternity session today! What a great couple – so fun to be around, full of energy, and SO natural in front of the camera! It is hard to believe that in only 4 weeks this great couple will be blessed with their little girl’s arrival. We are so honored and appreciative to have the opportunity to share these moments with them. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful day. Stay tuned all for the update to this great couple in only 6 weeks!!!
Well we are finally getting caught-up on some processing! We were a couple shoots behind as we kind of had a crazy week and we were out of the office for most of it! There are a few shots from the recent twins session that we had – and the other two are our boys. We just picked-up a couple different backdrops as well as a backdrop stand so we needed a couple models. Don’t they look like great school pictures?!?

I know I haven’t posted in a couple days – but there is a reason for the madness. This is a C R A Z Y week! We have a T O N of “issues” going on – not to mention all the everyday stuff we have to deal with…kids, school, schedules, swimming, diving, work, photos, etc…!!!
Now for the kicker – many of you know Erica and I have been trying to have a child (our first together) for quite some time now, and we just found out last week that going the “natural” way weren’t going to cut it. So we are meeting with Erica’s fertility doctor tomorrow to discuss I.V.F. and what it can do for us. So really people, I haven’t been putting you off – were are just S O busy right now!
Not only are we addressing the things above – but while we were busy with all of these things, Spring has decided to show-up and our yard was getting out of control! Some of you remember the post a few back about the “tree” in the front yard – well, that is now gone, the stump has been ground away, and a new tree has been planted to take it’s place. I’ll try to get an updated photo soon – I promise!

We got back from west Texas yesterday afternoon and prepared for things to get back to “normal”, whatever that is. We had a great time visiting with family, and helping out with a couple projects that needed to be done. We replaced the decking on a 16’ car trailer, wallpapered (Paper Illusions) a couple walls, rode some motorcycles & a go-cart….went to the movies – oh yeah, ate some banana pudding! The kids got to perfect their Wii skills on Mario Bros Olympic Games. All in all it was fun and exciting – never a dull moment!
Now that we are back, I’ll begin the processing from a couple shoots that I am behind in…so look for those to be posted this week. Also, we are still searching for some seniors (as in High-School Seniors) to do some cool photo sessions with! Here’s a few photos from our trip this weekend.
After what seems like a week that has gone on for about 3 three, we are a taking a break and heading west. We’ll be resting in west Texas for the weekend and won’t return until Sunday. The kids have been on spring break all week and we need to get them out of the house – what better than a 5 hour road trip!!!
This week we have had babies and kiddos running out of our ears! It seems everywhere we turned, more babies! I have so many photos to process and post, but here are a few teasers that will hopefully hold you over until our return. Enjoy!
Oh yeah – I forgot to mention, my D300 arrived the other day from Nikon! I am so impressed. They had the camera for slightly over a week, and then it was back in my hands! Now that is service! Thanks Nikon!
