Sorry blogstalkers, I know – I dropped the ball and haven’t posted a new blog post in like ten days!  So, let me take this opportunity to update you a little to our busy doings!

1. Erica is almost at 39 weeks & going strong!  If she hasn’t gone into labor before March 5th, then they’ll go ahead and induce that Friday!  It’s so crazy to think about how much our lives are about to change!
2. Albums, albums & albums!!!  We are trying to wrap-up all our loose ends before we take the month of March off & that includes several wedding albums on top of a brand new sample album design!
3. Soccer & more soccer.  Both our boys are playing soccer again…Zach plays for a select club team as well as the high school & now Alex has decided he wants to give it a go once more!  So between the practices, games, oh yea – Zach is also working as a soccer referee on the weekends….we just run around – a lot.
4. Last Friday we shot our last wedding before the baby arrives and we are almost through editing it already!  We are hoping to have it complete on Saturday, allowing a few days just in case Baby J decides to arrive a little early.
5. Last but certainly not least, the boys and I are gearing-up for a boys trip over spring break to go snowboarding!  Yep, you heard it right, I’m leaving my baby-mama for a few days & trading the baby-powder for shredding some fresh powder on the slopes!  It’ll be a quick trip but we are crazy excited about hitting the mountains!

Just a couple notes to remember…we are not accepting any shoots during the month of March as we adjust to our new lives with baby.  We will still be working on a couple projects, answering emails , scheduling client meetings & getting all our gear ready for the upcoming wedding season!

So now you are all caught-up!  Keep your eyes peeled for a sneak-peak of last week’s wedding – and you know when Baby J makes his/her arrival this blog will be bombarded with Baby J photos!

Despite the cooler temperatures, we snuck-out for a quick family portrait session with the cutest twin boys yesterday!  I go WAY back with this fabulous mother of twins, 6th grade Colleyville Middle School to be exact! It was great to re-unite with her and meet her new family. I have loved to reconnect with old friends on Facebook and seeing where their lives have taken them and meeting their new families. They are so adorable and looked quite handsome in their matching overalls (good call Mom)!  We wish that we had more time to capture more of these two but between them being only 15 months old and it only reaching a high of about 42 degrees – we were quite happy with the results! We look forward to capturing these boys as they grow over the years. – Erica
